Same-day turnovers are where short-let operations break. A guest leaves at 11, the next arrives at 4, and every unit that flips that day has to be cleaned, inspected and restocked inside the same few hours. Hosts usually find out they do not have enough cleaners on the day it happens, when a late check-in or a dirty unit is already in motion. This planner lets you find out on a calm afternoon instead.

The math is simple and deliberately conservative. It takes your turnover window in minutes, subtracts one full clean plus buffer for the first unit, then counts how many extra cleans fit when each one adds a travel leg. Partial cleans do not count. It then divides your busiest day by that number to get the cleaners you need, and compares it with the cleaners you can actually book. Change any input and the results update instantly.

What the math assumes

Every turnover on the peak day is a same-day turnover with the same checkout and check-in times, so all the cleaning has to fit inside one window.
One cleaner works one unit at a time; the first clean starts at checkout and each following clean adds one travel leg before it can begin.
Cleaning time, buffer and travel are averages you enter; a heavily soiled unit or a late checkout will reduce the real count.
Cleaners work the whole window without a break; shorten the window if you want to account for lunch or breaks.
Coverage is capped at 100 percent, and the planner does not model two cleaners working the same unit together.

Frequently asked questions

What if all my units are in one building?

Set travel to 0, or a few minutes for stairs and elevators. The count then depends only on cleaning and buffer time per unit.

Why does the planner round down the turnovers per cleaner?

A partial clean does not count. If the last unit cannot be finished before check-in, that is a late check-in, so the math only counts full cleans that fit inside the window.

Can I use it for staggered check-in times?

Enter the longest window you can realistically give one cleaner. Staggering check-ins or asking for early checkouts is the easiest way to widen the window and raise the count.

How do I find my peak day?

Look through the next 60 to 90 days of bookings and count the dates where a checkout and a check-in land on the same day in the same unit. The highest daily count is your peak.
